WoW Forever
Patch notes Page 2
Older WoW Forever updates, from October 15, 2026 to October 27, 2026, newest first: buffs, nerfs and changes for each class and race, with the new and changed items.
- Build 1.60.1.70634
Read from the client, Blizzard having posted no notes for it: the server hotfixes of October 16 to 23 are now in the client itself, Eureka!’s tooltip now says its 8 sec, and no talent, class spell or item reads differently. The racial pass Blizzard announced for launch is not in it.
Gnome
Eureka!: Its tooltip now says the 8 sec the October 15 update gave it.Not in Blizzard’s notes, found in the game.
ItemsNo item reads differently: the build writes the October hotfixes into the client.
- Announced for launch
Blizzard’s notes of October 26 announce a last pass on the racials for launch: role racials come back where a generic one had replaced them, weapon specializations stay out, and some passives are tuned. These changes are in no client yet. The lines below say what changes at launch, and the Races page shows them under each racial.
Human
The Human Spirit: Raises Spirit by 10% (was 5%).
Ruthless: Gives 1% critical strike chance (was 2%).
Orc
Blood Fury: Its cooldown is 2 min (was 3 min).
Savage: Removed. Command comes back: Hunter and Warlock pets deal 5% more damage.
Dwarf
Earth Fury: Removed. In its place, Artisan’s Precision gives 1% hit chance with spells and attacks.
Undead
Touch of the Grave: Its internal cooldown is 15 sec (was 25 sec).
Tauren
Endurance: Only the 5% Health stays. The 2% critical damage and healing bonus is gone.
Plainsrunning: Each stack gives 2% movement speed (was 1%), up to 60% (was 30%). It no longer adds mounted speed.
Troll
Berserking: Lasts 15 sec (was 10 sec).
Skyborne
Wind Blessed: Gives 2% haste (was 3%).
Read Leyline: Raises Health and Mana regeneration by 50% (was 100%), for 15 sec. Read at a leyline, it also makes you Attuned for 1 hour, and the bonus is 100% while Attuned. Attuned survives death and ends when you enter a raid. It cannot be used under Innervate, which replaces it.
Skysight: Gives 15% movement speed (was 10%), for 15 sec. Used at an elemental convergence, it also makes you Charged for 1 hour, and the bonus is 30% while Charged. Charged survives death and ends when you enter a raid.
- Hotfix
A hotfix to the October 22 build, first seen on October 23, which Blizzard’s notes do not mention: paladins learn Righteous Fury at level 10 instead of 16.
- Build 1.60.1.70532
The beta moved to the build the live game’s stress test used on October 21. Its game data is the same as the October 16 build’s: talents, spells and items did not change.
- Hotfix
A hotfix to the October 16 build, first seen on October 22, which Blizzard’s notes do not mention: 127 items for the beta only, copies of Molten Core’s loot and its legendary weapons at item level 30 that need level 1, the nine Tier 1 sets with Classic’s bonuses, and elixirs, one of which triples experience for an hour. They say nothing about Molten Core on the live realms. The beta closed on October 23, and Blizzard says they will not be in WoW Forever after launch.
- Hotfix
A hotfix to the October 16 build, first seen on October 21, which Blizzard’s notes do not mention: rank 4 of Hunter’s Mark gives twice the ranged attack power it did, and rank 3 of Lava Burst gains 20% from Flame Shock, like the other ranks.
Shaman
Lava Burst: Rank 3 deals 20% more damage to a target with Flame Shock instead of 54%, like the other ranks.
- Hotfix

Frost Warding: Also raises what your Ice Barrier and Frost Ward absorb by 10 or 20%. Frost Ward’s chance now negates the spell instead of reflecting it.
Piercing Ice: Gone from the Frost tree: it gave 2/4/6% more Frost damage.
Frost Channelingmoved: Moves from the second to the first column of row 3.
Improved Blizzardmoved: Moves from the fourth to the second column of row 3.
