DataminedFrom the beta client: stats, effects and availability can still change before release. Why Blizzard hides items
Uncommon, Off Hand, Shield, item level 44, item 4129. All items
Same as Classic: the tooltip reads the same in both clients.
Where it comes from
level 44 in Classic, from level 30
A chain of four quests from "Sea Wolf" MacKinley, Booty Bay
"Sea Wolf" MacKinley, in Booty Bay, gives the first and last steps, and every step opens at level 30. On the way you hunt gorillas of level 40 and three pirates of level 43 and 44 in Stranglethorn Vale. The last step asks for Maury's Key, which the Mosh'Ogg ogres drop: they are elites of level 41 to 45, so take a group. The four steps cost 1,750 reputation with the Bloodsail Buccaneers. This is the chain as Classic had it: we have not checked it in the beta.
Read from the game clients' item tables through wago.tools. Some Forever items are not in those tables: Blizzard's server sends them to the game the first time it meets one, and we read the ones our game has received from its cache. The Forever client's stat amounts, armor and weapon damage are computed from its item level budgets the way the game computes them. Names, icons and item data © Blizzard Entertainment.
