Where it comes from
Strahnbrad Mystery, a quest of Alterac Mountains
Strahnbrad Mystery, a quest of level 36 that opens at level 25, starts from a Singed Note that the Syndicate Wizards and Argus Shadow Mages of Alterac Mountains (levels 34 to 36) sometimes drop. A reader of this site told us so on October 15, and the Forever database agrees. In the forge of Strahnbrad, an area fire spell over the two bellows brings out a fire elemental: kill it. The database has the quest end with Shara Blazen in Tarren Mill and marks it Horde; a player wrote on October 14 that Alliance characters can take it too. Not checked in the beta.

Read from the game clients' item tables through wago.tools. Some Forever items are not in those tables: Blizzard's server sends them to the game the first time it meets one, and we read the ones our game has received from its cache. The Forever client's stat amounts, armor and weapon damage are computed from its item level budgets the way the game computes them. Names, icons and item data © Blizzard Entertainment.
