Where it comes from
level 40 in Classic, from level 30
Mage's Wand, a mage chain from Dustwallow Marsh
A mage trainer sends you to Tabetha in Dustwallow Marsh (Journey to the Marsh), and every step opens at level 30. Tabetha needs the book Rituals of Power, so she sends you to Magus Tirth in the Shimmering Flats, who opens his strongbox once you find its phrase (Get the Scoop) and tells you he sold the last copy to the Scarlet Crusade. The book lies in the Scarlet Monastery: take a group. Bring it to Tabetha and she makes your wand, one of three: Icefury Wand (Frost), Ragefire Wand (Fire) or Nether Force Wand (Arcane). This is the chain as Classic had it: we have not checked it in the beta.

Read from the game clients' item tables through wago.tools. Some Forever items are not in those tables: Blizzard's server sends them to the game the first time it meets one, and we read the ones our game has received from its cache. The Forever client's stat amounts, armor and weapon damage are computed from its item level budgets the way the game computes them. Names, icons and item data © Blizzard Entertainment.
