The Book of Ur

A level 26 dungeon quest for the Horde, from level 16.

Changed in Forever. Gives 5,600 experience instead of 2,100, 2.67 times as much. New rewards: Tattered Mittens. Read from what the game server sent in the beta. Its experience counts the level 30 build, which halved what dungeon quests give beyond a normal quest.

Quest Objectives

Bring the Book of Ur to Keeper Bel'dugur at the Apothecarium in the Undercity.

The Book of UrThe Book of Ur in Shadowfang Keep

Description

‹name›, Shadowfang Keep holds a book, the Book of Ur, which would be much prized in my collection. Ur was a great mage of Dalaran before the coming of the Scourge, his studies in other worlds are of much value to ... certain parties among the Forsaken.

Enter Shadowfang Keep and find the book. Bring it to me, and I will report your service to our Dark Lady...

Grizzled Boots

Steel-clasped Bracers

When you come back

Did you find the book, ‹name›?

When you hand it in

Very good. This book will add nicely to my collections of the workings of Ur. His knowledge was great, but his conscience held him from true power. And so when the Scourge came and his strength was tested, it failed.

We of the Forsaken cannot afford such weakness, if we are to survive...
