Quest Objectives
Speak with Ott and ask him to forge your blade.
Provided:
Bundle of Blacksmithing Materials
Description
In Tarren Mill there is a weaponsmith known as Ott. By all accounts he is an unremarkable smith, selling simple blades to travelers. I purchased a sword from him myself, and when I took it to the undercity for maintenance some time later, the smiths there were surprised at its quality. They assumed it came from a well known master smith, but no, it was just Ott.
I'd like to give this orc a chance to do something truly special. Take the materials to Ott in Tarren Mill and offer him the commission.
When you come back
Are you in need of a blade, ‹class›?
When you hand it in
Interesting. I don't think anyone has ever asked me to actually carry out a custom commission for them. Mostly I just make humble, functional weapons in my own style. It's not much, but its honest work and I don't seek accolades or glory.
I'm happy to try, but why would you seek me for this? There are plenty of smiths in the Undercity that will take on custom jobs like this.
