Quest Objectives
Bring a Wind-Infused Bough to Belann Windwood in Valanaar.
Description
It is a time-honored tradition for young mages to create their own spell focus when they have shown a certain degree of magical proficiency. This is typically done by gathering a fallen branch from our oldest trees, as they have some lingering traces of elemental wind.
I have found the most ideal ones to be near the wind shrine, just south of Falaath Village. Go and bring me back a large branch and I will teach you about the traditions as we create your spell focus.
Rewards
You will receive:
5Experience: 850
- +50 reputation with Windshapers
- +50 reputation with High Order
When you come back
Every year that passes in Zephras sees fewer and fewer of those who are gifted with a talent for magic.
I am glad to see young mages such as yourself participate in our oldest traditions to help keep our history and culture alive and well.
When you hand it in
Thank you, ‹name›. I can indeed feel the elemental energies in this bough waiting to be harnessed by those that have the gift to do so. This will make an excellent spell focus.
Did this branch sing to you, perhaps? It has often been the case that the branch picks the ‹class›, and not the other way around.
