Test Your Theory

A level 38 quest for both factions, from level 35.

New in Forever. From Wowhead’s Forever database.

Quest Objectives

Maintain your reputation with the Gelkis, and dispel the necromantic curse present on the Accursed Skull. Once successful, report back to Nerlokh near the Valley of Bones.

Uthek's Draenethyst Staff
Dispel the Accursed Skull
Gelkis Clan Centaur
Uthek's Staff

Description

I have placed the skull you provided alongside several bones I found while awaiting your return. Immediately I saw a sickly light spread from the skull and claim those old bones as its own. I see now why the call of necromancy is so hard to resist.

Do you remember this crystal? It is draenethyst. I know little of its potential, but I believe it can channel Theradras' power. With it, perhaps you can dispel the curse.

The ritual site can be found by the pond just east of the village.
