Blood of the Black Dragon Champion

A level 60 raid quest for the Horde, from level 55.

Unchanged in Forever as far as is known: the text, objectives and rewards below are Classic’s.

Quest Objectives

Travel to Blackrock Spire and slay General Drakkisath. Gather his blood and return it to Rexxar.

Blood of the Black Dragon ChampionGeneral Drakkisath

Description

How would you feel about paying a visit to the General? No illusions, this time.

Ceremony? A pretty word to describe the bloodletting that amuses the Black Dragonflight.

All this amulet requires is the blood of General Drakkisath. Primitive security. There are other ways to receive the General's blood.

Go to Blackrock Spire and kill Drakkisath. Return with his blood and I will activate the key to Onyxia's lair.

Rewards

You will receive:

Drakefire Amulet

Experience: 9,950

When you come back

I don't think I need to tell you that Drakkisath is not to be taken lightly.

I let the thousands dead by his hand do the talking.

When you hand it in

A victory that will be remembered for many years, ‹name›. The Drakefire Amulet will open Onyxia's lair. Gather your allies and bring victory to the Horde.
