The Black Shield

A level 37 quest for the Horde, from level 30.

Unchanged in Forever as far as is known: the text, objectives and rewards below are Classic’s.

Quest Objectives

Acquire 5 Acidic Venom Sacs for Do'gol in Brackenwall Village.

5Acidic Venom SacDarkmist Recluse 25%, Darkfang Lurker 25%, Darkfang Spider 25%, Darkfang Venomspitter 25% and 4 more

Description

Hmmm, there's writing right here on the rim of the shield, but it's hard to read from all the burned stuff.

I need acid to make it clear. Venom from the darkmist spiders would do good. The spiders have taken over an old mine, the Darkmist Cavern, northwest of the village. Get me some of their sacs and I can clean this up.

Rewards

Experience: 2,850

When you come back

Did you get them sacs from the spiders?

When you hand it in

I don't like spiders that are so big I can't sit on them and squish them.

Thanks for getting them, ‹name›. Now I rip them open and pour them onto the shield...
